The RGEF300 is a Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuse designed by Tyco Raychem to protect electronic circuits from overcurrent and short-circuit conditions. It offers a self-resetting mechanism, where the resistance rises significantly during a fault, limiting the current flow to protect connected components. Once the fault is cleared and the device cools, it resets and resumes normal operation, eliminating the need for replacement.
