Description

The MOC3081 is an optically isolated Triac driver. It consists of an LED on the input side and a phototriac on the output side. When a control signal drives the LED, it emits infrared light, triggering the phototriac, which in turn drives a larger Triac to switch the AC load. The MOC3081 is known for its high isolation voltage and ability to handle high static dv/dt conditions, making it suitable for noisy environments.
