Description

The MCT6 IC contains two separate channels, each with a light-emitting diode (LED) that is optically coupled to a phototransistor. When a current passes through the LED, it emits infrared light, which is detected by the phototransistor. This allows the input and output to be electrically isolated while transferring signals.
