Description

The CD4017 is a CMOS Decade Counter IC with ten decoded outputs. It is commonly used in applications requiring counting from 0 to 9, frequency division, or sequential circuit design. The counter advances one step on the rising edge of each clock pulse, and each of the ten outputs goes high in sequence for each clock pulse received.
