The 74LS189 is a 64-bit static RAM (Random Access Memory) IC from the 74LS (Low Power Schottky) series. It contains 64 bits of memory organized as 16 words by 4 bits. The IC features 3-state outputs, making it ideal for bus-oriented systems, allowing the data outputs to be disabled when not in use. The memory is organized as a 4-bit wide word, and access to the memory is managed via address, data, and control inputs.
