The 74LS122 is a retriggerable monostable multivibrator, or one-shot pulse generator, housed in a 14-pin DIP (Dual In-line Package). This IC is designed to generate a single pulse of a specific duration in response to an input trigger. It features retriggerable capabilities, allowing the pulse duration to be extended if a new trigger pulse is received before the current pulse has ended.
