Description

The 74LS06 is a hex inverter buffer IC from the 74LS series, consisting of six independent inverter buffers with open-collector outputs. Each gate inverts the input signal and is designed to drive higher current loads compared to standard logic gates, due to its open-collector configuration. The open-collector outputs allow the IC to interface with higher voltage circuits or be used in wired-AND configurations. It is widely used in applications where higher drive current or voltage level shifting is needed.
