Description

The 74HC393 contains two identical, independent 4-bit binary counters. Each counter operates as a modulo-16 counter, providing four outputs that represent a binary count from 0 to 15. The counters are triggered by the rising edge of the clock signal, and the outputs progress in a ripple fashion. Both counters can be asynchronously reset to zero using the reset input.
