The 74HC253 is a dual 4-bit multiplexer with two independent 4-bit multiplexers. Each multiplexer has four data inputs and a select input, allowing the selection of one of four data inputs to be routed to the output. This IC is useful for data routing and selection applications where multiple data paths need to be managed.
