Description
This is a polarized electrolytic capacitor. As the name suggests, these capacitors have polarity. As a result, they have a negative and a positive terminal. The longer terminal is positive and the shorter terminal is negative. Both the terminals are connected to metal plates that form an insulating oxide layer through an anodization process. These capacitors have a much higher capacitance-voltage. They have a life cycle of 5000 hours. These capacitors can also pass or bypass the low-frequency signals.
