Description

The IR2520D is a 600V ballast control IC that provides adaptive control of fluorescent lamps. It is capable of driving both preheat and instant start lamps, and it includes features such as programmable preheat time, adaptive zero-voltage switching (ZVS), and protection mechanisms. The IC is designed to operate directly from a high-voltage DC bus and incorporates a low-side driver for the external MOSFETs used in the ballast circuit.
