Description
The MCT2E optocoupler consists of an infrared light-emitting diode (LED) on the input side and a phototransistor on the output side. When the LED is forward biased, it emits infrared light that is detected by the phototransistor, which then conducts to transmit the signal from the input to the output. This setup allows for electrical isolation between the input and output circuits.
